A few years ago, I discovered a strong interest for handicrafts and DIY building. Living and working in Berlin gave me the opportunity to explore and start practicing more sustainable ways of building. Through motivation and meetings I started working with professionals involved in construction, designing and recycling materials.
During my two volunteering programmes in Greece I could this time discover and learn more about Natural Building methods using local materials and traditional techniques. I have also learned how to organize and facilitate building workshops in different contexts.
The idea of mixing building, socializing, health and sustainable approaches to new ways of living made me realize I’d like to educate and train myself more in this area. I have so far experienced a more rural aspect of sustainable architecture concerns. Working with Critical Concrete would allow me to discover a more urban aspect of Sustainable and Natural Building.
