I’m Martin, a Brussels native who graduated in architecture at ULB la Cambre -Horta in 2019. During the year and a half following my studies, I narrowly escaped the lock down of the pandemic and got involved in various volunteering and participatory workcamps in the Americas and in Europe. I adopted a more sensible way of discovering the world, but above all I had the chance to experiment freely with bamboo, earth, wood and straw construction in Chile, France, Costa Rica and Belgium. Then, since the bicycle is my friend, I cycled the American west coast on a tandem.

In addition to my interest in natural construction and my passion for photography and drawing, I enjoy making furniture out of reclaimed paper, cardboard and wood and experimenting with different art forms such as video, painting, collage
and paper mache. During my studies and some short contracts in different architectural offices in Brussels and Grenoble, my interest was focused on the design of mixed and social housing. Today I am mainly interested in giving meaning to my work through
environmental, sustainability and social issues. Critical concrete reflects what I’m heading towards, I’m very happy to join the team.
