Sephora Schembri

Architect
(2019-2020)

Graduated from the University of Malta with a degree in architecture and I’m currently an intern at Critical Concrete. I have a great interest in social architecture and I believe that quality architecture should be accessible for all the people, and not only to those who can afford it. I am also interested in researching and applying a more sustainable and humble approach in the way we build.

I wanted to join this organisation to learn more a hands-on approach of ‘learning by doing’, where research is applied within the construction. I’m very interested in finding ways of using recycled materials as building materials, and how this can be used as alternative way to build affordable housing.

My work within the organisation is Social Media Communication and working on the Green Roof.
