Summer School 2017 Financial report

After a successful second summer school, time has come for balances sheets and planning for next editions and programme. The income of the summer school comes from student’s fees (€39151) to participate, economical support from the Junta Freguesia de Ramalde (€2500) and Robert Bosch Stiftung (€4500) and Fundação Millennium (€2400).

The surplus will be re-invested in the production and organisation of the next summer school: acquire new hardware for the office, enlarge the administrative and project team, and develop new workshop formats.

How can we improve?

Critical Concrete is actively managing a new complementary activity into researching, developing and designing material and process for sustainability social rehabilitation. Additional to the next 2018 summer school, few days practical workshop will be organised all the years long about more specific traditional and innovative practices.Team building will also be proposed to company to applied the result of the research through threes days social action.

Critical Concrete is energically seeking more sponsors for students who are in need of financial aid. At the same time, we are hoping to increase the budget to invite more mentors and hire more helps to facilitate the summer school, thus expand the impact with more and better projects.
